Professional career includes director/advisor/counselor of music industry trade bodies, such as Federation of Music Producers Japan (1997-2005)

Center for Performers Rights Administration of Geidankyo (2001-2004) and Japan Association of Classical Music Presenters (2003-present).

In 1991 through 1997, joined Warner Music Group and was named President of EastWest Japan and Executive Director of Warner Music Japan, following 21-year’s career at Yamaha Music Foundation as director of Music Publishing and Business Affairs.

Recent activities extended to affiliation/fellowship/membership of various industrial governmental/non-governmental research and study projects that include the launch of Independent Label Council Japan (2003-) and several music entrepreneurs, online and offline.

Serve also as Professor at Showa University of Music (2004-present).
