SECTION 4 - Eligibility for Membership
It is a condition of Merlin membership that the applicant fulfills the Merlin Membership Criteria as set out in the accompanying notes. The applicant should be aware that in siging the Merlin Membership Agreement it is confirming that it fulfills the Membership Criteria and will immediately inform Merlin if this should change. Additionally, as part of the application process, the applicant must provide Merlin with a list of the master recordings in respect of which it owns, or is the licensee of, the "relevant rights" together with details of the territory or territories for which those rights are held. The "relevant rights" in this context are the digital and other non physical rights which Merlin is authorized to represent on a non exclusive basis under the Merlin Membership Agreement. The applicant will be required to keep Merlin regularly updated as to changes in its catalogue (new recordings, loss of relevant rights, etc.).

Please read the following data protection notice carefully. By submitting this application form, the applicant is consenting to the terms set out below. Merlin may use the information the applicant gives to it, and other information Merlin may obtain about the applicant, in connection with exercising any authority that the applicant may give to MERLIN from time to time (whether pursuant to the Membership Agreement or otherwise), and for the following purposes: legal action, negotiations and settlements in accordance with the terms of the Membership Agreement financial distributions dispute resolution fraud prevention, and administering its business MERLIN may disclose the applicant's information to its service providers, agents and other third parties in connection with the above purposes.
